Talqo Support
Help with recording, sharing and listening to voice QR codes.
Contact the developer
Open a support request on GitHub (a GitHub account is required), or browse existing requests.
Support requests are public. Include the app version, iOS version, device model and steps that caused the problem. Do not attach private recordings, personal voice QR codes, passwords or purchase identifiers. Use a non-sensitive test recording if an example is needed.
How does someone listen?
When Talqo launches, recipients on iPhone will be able to scan a voice QR with Camera and listen using an App Clip, without installing the full app. The first listen needs an internet connection to download the player; later listens can work offline. The full Talqo app also supports scanning codes and importing saved QR images. The audio is stored in the code, not streamed from an audio-hosting service.
My QR will not scan
Use Talqo’s scanner. Keep the whole QR visible, use good lighting and avoid glare. For printed cards, use the app’s suggested print size and avoid reducing a dense QR to a tiny label. Try importing the original QR image instead of a compressed screenshot. An older audio format may require the original version of Talqo, as indicated by the app.
Recording or importing fails
Enable microphone access in iOS Settings for recording. Record nearby in a quiet room. Use the app’s trim controls to fit the supported length and listen to the preview before sharing. If an import fails, try a shorter, standard audio file and check available device storage.
Credits and subscriptions
Your device starts with three free generations. Only a successfully generated new voice QR uses a credit. Listening, scanning, sharing and re-exporting do not use credits.
QR packs are one-time purchases with no credit expiry; their balances stay on the purchasing device. Both subscription plans allow unlimited generation while active and renew automatically. Subscribing preserves your existing credits. Products and prices are shown only when available through the App Store; the Apple purchase confirmation is authoritative.
Use Restore on the paywall to restore an active subscription. Restore does not transfer another device’s pack balance. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple subscription settings. For refund requests, use Apple’s Report a Problem service.
