Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Talqo iOS app (com.voiceqr.app) and this support website.

Your voice stays on your device

Recording, audio compression, QR generation and QR decoding happen on your device. Talqo does not upload your recordings or QR audio payloads to a developer-operated server. You do not need a Talqo account. The app does not include advertising or developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting services.

Permissions and files

You can change camera, microphone and Photos permissions in iOS Settings.

Sharing a voice QR

The audio is contained in the QR itself. Anyone who obtains the QR and uses Talqo may listen to it. A name you add to a card is visible on the exported image. Treat a voice QR like a recording you are sharing: send it only to intended recipients.

Talqo cannot revoke an exported QR or erase copies held by another person. Apps or services you choose in the share sheet handle the shared file under their own privacy policies.

Purchases and local balances

Apple processes purchases and verifies subscription transactions. Talqo does not receive your payment-card details. The app stores free-use counts, purchased generation credits and processed transaction identifiers in this device’s secure Keychain storage to maintain balances and prevent duplicate grants.

Credits are not synchronized between devices. Active subscriptions can be restored through Apple. Keychain data may remain after uninstalling the app; device replacement, erasure or loss of that data can affect a local credit balance.

Retention and deletion

Recordings and working files are processed locally. Exported files remain wherever you save or share them until you delete them there. Removing local app data does not remove exported files, recipients’ copies, or Apple’s purchase records. We do not hold a server-side copy of your recordings to delete.
